Hopefully you are enjoying the speedy PPMB 3.0 (much nicer than PPMB 2.5, isn't it?).
While maintaining the Site5 account isn't a huge expense, it is a bigger expense than maintaining the PPMB on Gamer's site. It's worth it, as you can see. However, between this and the domain names, I'm spending at least $100 a year. Again, it's not a huge expense, but at this particular point in my life, it's not painless either.
Therefore, I would be be grateful to anyone willing to make one or more small donations to help maintain the site. A few things:
1. They should be
small donations. No more than
$10 every three months maximum. If someone tries to donate more than that -- say $50 at one time, or $10 every week -- I will be grateful, but just as quickly refund the donation.
2. The donations would be your way of helping the community and of saying thanks for the board. They would not be:
* a way to purchase the board (I can assure you that would not pass muster legally)
* a way to avoid the rules
* a way to change the rules
* a way to gain any other sort of power or favoritism
I don't assume anyone would donate for any of the above reasons, but I just had to put that out there.
